Upon entering the restaurant it feels as if you have been transported to Italy in a matter of steps. With a decent capacity of 50 split over 2 floors, Marefair Roma is an intimate affair that is perfect for romantic evenings or group celebrations. Roberto is also happy to hire the whole restaurant privately for particularly large groups and special occasions as well as tailoring menus around your requirements. Their is also now a private dining room as they have had a refurbishment recently. The dining room itself is decorated in warm Mediterranean tones with red walls, warm wooden tables, a highly polished wooden floor and, to add a bit of drama, the ceiling is draped in crisp white linen, as if you were sat under a giant parasol.

Guests are encouraged to relax on the leather sofas with a glass of wine or cocktail and soak up the relaxed atmosphere before enjoying lunch or dinner in the main restaurant. The menu, as the name of the restaurant may suggest, features a whole host of classic, authentic and popular Italian dishes with a few European additions. For starters the Antipasto platter, with Salami Milano, Prosciutto Crudo, chorizo, mozzarella, olives, rocket salad, green pesto and ciabatta, comes highly recommended. To follow there is a huge selection of delicious mains including pizza and calzones, pasta and risotto dishes, salads and European dishes which include steaks and other meat dishes.
